Rasping, Filing, Sanding, And Putty…
Continued work on smoothing…
Since the heavy tools seemed to work pretty good on the Back Belt, I tried the same process on the Shoulder Bells. It consisted of really aggressive grinding with the wood rasp, filing with the metal file, and then sanding with heavy and medium grit sand paper, focusing mainly on the problem areas.
Then it all gets a layer of glazing putty.

Applied a second coat of primer, to try and see how the rounding process is coming along.
While it’s a lot better than it was, it still needs some work. If you look at it, from certain angles, you can still see some of the lines that make it not look rounded enough…
