Smoothing Begins…

Time to smooth it all out…

First step, use a metal rasp to quickly knock down as much of the high points as possible.

Then, a very low grit sandpaper to even it all out.

At this point, most of the high stuff is gone, leaving only the low areas to be filled in.

Beat It Up…

Time to make it look battle-worn…

To get the damage positioned correctly, I printed out the paint templates and then penciled in the damaged areas.

Using a soldering iron and a rubber handle of a small hand tool to create the damaged areas on the front…

I then used my Dremel to soften the damaged areas.

Cool Looking Leg Armor…

The Knee Pads are small enough to print without being cut into smaller pieces…

Starting the print of the Left Knee Pad.

Completed print, on the build plate.

Outside with supports intact.

Back side with supports still intact.

Front side with supports removed.

Back side with supports removed.
