Let’s Shore Up Those Results
With the basic shape looking pretty good, it’s now time to try and strengthen up the back of the helmet so that it retains the correct shape. I’ve chosen to use fiberglass resin and fiberglass cloth.
First step – Cut up a bunch of strips of fiberglass cloth.
Second step – Mix up the fiberglass resin.
Third step – Lay in the cloth strips and coat them with the resin to cover the areas that need reinforcing.
