Finishing up this circuit…
Found a properly sized tilt switch.
I added the tilt switch into the circuit, at the proper angle so that it will only complete the circuit when the rangefinder is down.

With the circuit build completed, it’s time to attach the wiring that will run down the rangefinder stalk into the helmet.
Red & Black wires attached.
