Strengthening The Weak Points…
I will be using J-B Weld…
I applied some J-B Weld to the back side of the rivets to help give them a little more stability. This should also help cover the sharp metal pieces that were left after cutting the rivet rod, and hopefully will keep them from rubbing holes in the boot vinyl.
I then applied a strip of J-B Weld over the entire area where the two parts meet. This should strengthen that connection, and since I’m planning to add some padding (to better secure the blaster) on the inside of the Holster, it won’t be visible.
