The long process of smoothing out all of the print lines continues…

I let the plastic metal dry overnight, then wet sanded the entire piece with 220 grit sandpaper…

The piece seems to be a lot smoother, so it got another coat of black primer. This will show any low spots for sure…

While the black primer was still wet, you can clearly still see print lines…

For this piece, using the different technique, it seems to be a lot smoother just after the first wet sand with 220 grit sandpaper…

The welding lines still had some high spots, so I used my oscillating tool to sand it all down, leaving only the low spots. These were filled with plastic metal at full strength…

Once the plastic metal was dry, I wet sanded those areas with 220 grit sandpaper…
