Putting It Together…
The Back portion of the Helmet is made up of eight separate parts. I’m continuing assembling the finished pieces while the other ones print…
The next two pieces that make up the rear of the bottom of the Helmet, ready for gluing.
I used the super glue and baking soda on the inside seam.
On the outside seam, I used my soldering iron and some filament to try and strengthen the seam.
Next piece to add to the rear of the Helmet.
Super glue and baking soda on the inner seam.
Outside seam gets the soldering iron and filament.
Last piece to complete the bottom part of the back of the Helmet.
Super glue and baking soda for the inner seam.
Soldering iron and filament for the outside seam.
That completes assembly of the bottom part of the back of the Helmet.
Now, I need to attach the front top section to the bottom section.
First, plain super glue…
Then, super glue and baking soda on the inside seam.
Outside seam done with the soldering iron & filament. One side attached, now on to the other.
Other side super glued.
Super glue and baking soda applied to the inside seam.
Outside seam finished with a soldering iron and filament.
