More Printing…
I did some modding of the 3D print file by finding a different snout file that had a more accurate representation of the motorcycle engine part, removing it, and placing it into the snout backing plate file that goes with my helmet. let’s see how this prints…

Starting the revised backing plate of the Snout…


Fins are now more accurate, but the circular things are still incorrect. Rather than try to fix it in the 3D file and reprint, I’ll just take care of this the “old school” way…

I used my dremel to grind the circular things down at an angle…


Angle applied, now to create the “squared off” part…

I will be using glazing putty to fill in the area…
